RISHTOBERFEST - 25th-26th OCTOBER 2014

Rishton resident Andrew Harris has organised a beer festival which will take place later this month at Norden High School from 25th to 26th October. Over 30 ales will be available from the following breweries:

The festival comes shortly after the successful ale festival at Rishton Conservative Club in late September and it is hoped that these will lead to more.

Cllr Ken Moss said, "I've been a real ale drinker all my life so I am delighted to see that it is finally taking off in Rishton with hand pumps now at most of the pubs and clubs. Beer festivals are expensive to host but the Con Club one was fantastic and I hope that Andrew's is just as successful. Good luck and good health!"
