CLARE CLEARY LAUNCHES SHOP LOCAL

Cabinet Member Clare Cleary has launched this year's Shop Local drive as part of the Accrington Christmas campaign.

Cllr Cleary said, "The aim is to encourage shoppers to give Accrington and the surrounding towns a try before rushing off to places such as The Trafford Centre. There is plenty going for Accy and we have produced a leaflet which has gone to every household to show off what is here."

The Accrington Christmas Lights Switch On will take place on Thursday 27th November 2014 at 7.00pm in the Town Centre.
