Following a summer break, the Rishton Prospects panel will be starting up their regular monthly meetings from Tuesday 1st September. The group is made up of volunteers who take an active interest in the green areas of the village, notably the railway station and the canal, and their work can be seen all year round in the form of flower planters up and down Rishton.

The meeting starts at 7.00pm in The People's Centre on School Street and is open to all residents.
