Planning permission is now in place for the development of manufacturing, storage and distribution uses on the main part of the site. The site owners, Euro Garages, are also busy developing a petrol filling station and hot food take-aways which it expects to open by June 2018. An application has also been submitted for a 150-bed hotel and conference / banqueting facility at the site which is now being looked at.
Cllr Miles Parkinson said, "Frontier Park is currently the main focus for our drive to create new employment in the Borough. Things are now moving rapidly at the 90 acre site and will provide a big boost in the year ahead to jobs and the local economy."
